The application of Chondroitin Sulfate Sodium :
1. Most chondroitin sulfate is used for joint care dietary supplements. This could takes about 85% of the chondroitin market. The finished dosage form could be tablets, capsules or sachets.
2. Some chondroitin sulfate is used to produce drugs to treat joint inflamations, including the tablets and capsules or even cream.Usually, it is EP grade Chondroitin sulfate.
3. EP grade Chondroitin sulfate extracted from Bovine could be used to produce eye drops.
4. EP grade or Injectable chondroitin sulfate is used to produce the injections.
The Fuction of Chondroitin Sulfate sodium
1. chondroitin sulfate can clear the lipids and lipoproteins in blood, clear the cholesterol in blood vessels around the heart, prevent and treat atherosclerosis, and increase the conversion rate of lipids and fatty acids in cells.
2. chondroitin sulfate can effectively prevent and treat coronary heart disease. It has anti atherosclerotic and anti atherogenic plaque effects on experimental atherosclerosis model; It can increase the coronary artery division or collateral circulation of atherosclerosis, and accelerate the healing, regeneration and repair of myocardial necrosis or degeneration caused by experimental coronary atherosclerosis or embolism.
3. it can increase the biosynthesis of messenger RNA (mRNA) and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and promote cell metabolism.
4. low anticoagulant activity. Chondroitin sulfate has a mild anticoagulant effect. Each LMG of chondroitin sulfate A is equivalent to the anticoagulant activity of 0.45u heparin. This anticoagulant activity does not depend on antithrombin III. it can exert anticoagulant activity through the fibrinogen system.
